Hi! I'm David Snow. I am an experienced record producer and it is my job to bring out the best in YOUR MUSIC Production. My recording studio is located in Van Nuys, (San Fernando valley)CA, here in Los Angeles, LA. In any track I produce, record, program or mix for you here, I want your music to be EXTRAORDINARY! I do everything from song demos to full masters. I help with arranging if needed, record your voice or vocals, with excellent sound quality and will perfom most instruments needed unless you perfom your own parts. I have tons of synthesizers and all the sounds you could want for your project. I stay very up to date. I can get you singers for your songs if needed and at the end, my mixing of your audio will put that finishing sparkle in your song! Basically, whatever it takes to make magic out of your song or you as an artist, that's what I will provide! What is it you need to succeed?
The first thing I will do with you is really listen to what you want to do with your music. And I especially want to know where you have fallen short of your goals and what you feel you need to move to the next level. If I may be so bold, it is my sincerest belief that you are going to need someone to put as much magic into your tracks as possible. And if it's a track that you made, you need a producer to help you stay in that magic zone, and maybe someone to add just that needed polish to take your stuff to the next level. You also need to have a producer that you are comfortable with who can get the best out of you from your singing, playing and or writing. If I do my job like it should be done, these are the things I will be able to do for you!
About Me
I have recorded, produced and or written in an extremely diversified range of projects. Because I have experience in so many styles instead of being limited to ONE style, I believe I have the tools at my finger tips to really concentrate on YOUR STYLE! Want a rock/ hip hop hybrid with a latin beat?..Or an acoustic/vibey, euro trance groove with a touch of Tango?...LOL...Just let me take a crack at it!
My history is that I started out as a guitar player and moved to a variety of instruments from there. I played in many fields of music, from Led Zepellin to straight ahead Jazz. From Latin Salsa and R&B to Opera and television music. As a guitar player, early on, I learned to avoid the pattern-like limits on the guitar, and so, I also studied and played horn charts, and piano lines, all on the guitar.I believe this gave me a keener sense of melody.
The second instrument that really has made music open up for me has been the piano, and here at the studio, I play the grand piano every day. After piano came drums, drum machines and man do I like to make a beat slam! At this point, it feels to me like the whole studio is one big instrument!
Finally, after years of experience as a player, I realized my love for the over all "Big Picture" of music and decided to produce. I enjoy working on all levels from songwriter DEMOS, to big budget records!
